David J. MacMain is the Managing Partner of MacMain Leinhauser PC, a 10 lawyer firm located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. His practice focuses on defending public entities and officials in a wide variety of civil rights and employment claims including police misconduct, zoning/land use, sexual harassment, discrimination, licensing, First Amendment, prison-based and work-place claims. He is the 2019/2020 Chair of the Governmental Liability Committee of the Defense Research Institute, and active in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and its Governmental Liability, Employment and Trial Tactics Committees. David is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and thereafter served as a Pennsylvania State Trooper stationed at the Avondale, Chester County Barracks where he engaged in all aspects of police work in the twenty-seven (27) municipalities that the Avondale station covered. David is cum laude graduate of Temple University School of Law. David has been married to his wife Lisa since 1986, has 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
