Practice and Personal Background

As Buffalo native, I am a graduate of the Nichols School, Canisius College, and University at Buffalo Law School. After 16 years at Brown & Kelly, LLP as a litigation attorney, practicing primarily in insurance defense and toxic torts, I joined Wilbraham, Lawler & Buba, P.C. in October 2018, opening their new Buffalo office. I also work for the County of Niagara as a Assistant Conflict Defender, currently handling the appeals for the office. I am a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and currently serve as the Marketing Chair for the Asbestos Medicine Seminar. I previously served as a Young Lawyer liaison for the Asbestos Medicine Seminar for two years. I have moderated several of the YL Breakouts at the Asbestos Medicine Seminar and presented three times at the Asbestos Medicine Seminar breakouts (2011, 2017,and 2018). Other memberships include the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), Niagara and Erie County Bar Associations, the New York State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of the Tonawandas (former President). She is admitted to the State Bar of New York as well as the United States District Court (Western and Northern), and Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. I have been named a Rising Star Super Lawyer five consecutive years, from 2014-2018.In my spare time, when I’m not chasing around my identical twin third-grade boys or helping my parents flip a rehabbed home, I teach ballet, enjoy selling real estate and helping others plan trips to Disney!
