Cary E. Hiltgen is a founding member and shareholder of Hiltgen & Brewer, P.C., in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For over 34 years he has focused his practice in the areas of products liability, insurance, complex commercial, and transportation defense litigation. Mr. Hiltgen is AV peer rated preeminent and has garnered numerous honors and awards for his national litigation experience. Mr. Hiltgen's practice has grown into a national litigation practice as Hiltgen & Brewer, P.C. represents a number of national and international corporations in a broad range of business and commercial areas. Mr. Hiltgen serves as national trial counsel for large equipment manufacturers. His firm serves as regional and local counsel for numerous other well-known manufacturers, distributors, retailers and trucking, railroad and insurance companies. Mr. Hiltgen has served as president and a member of the board of directors and law institute of DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar. In addition, he serves on the board of the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence. Mr. Hiltgen is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA), Product Liability Advisory Counsel (PLAC), International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel (OADC) and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC). Mr. Hiltgen is a frequent speaker on product liability related issues across the country. He also has authored numerous articles and legal summaries for national and international publications. Since his graduation from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1981, Mr. Hiltgen is admitted to all Oklahoma State and Federal Courts; the Supreme Court of the United States; the United States Courts of Appeal for the Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Circuits; and the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois and District of Arizona.
